We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in Marshfield, WI. Requirements and Skills

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Proven experience in critical care nursing, preferably within an ICU or SICU environment
  • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills in managing critically ill patients
  • Excellent ability to operate advanced ICU monitoring and life support equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and interacting with patients and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill surgical patients in the SICU, including monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical equipment
  • Assess patient conditions continuously, implement nursing interventions, and modify care plans as needed
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining strict adherence to protocols and safety measures
  • Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and timely in patient records
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and post-ICU care when appropriate
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in code teams when necessary
  • Maintain infection control standards and promote a clean, safe, and supportive ICU environment

Qualifications

  • Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in ICU nursing strongly preferred
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, with weekly pay through Quick2Hire.
