Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Proficient in patient care documentation and electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to following state and federal healthcare regulations and standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and side effects
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatments, and care strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care and resident interactions
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean care environment
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide support during critical situations
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Wisconsin
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Experience in long-term care nursing is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $57.00 to $68.00 based on experience and qualifications.
