Shift / Schedule

Requirements and Skills

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Proven experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room environment
  • Perform rapid assessments and triage patients effectively
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and promptly
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations following established protocols
  • Educate patients and families regarding their conditions and post-care instructions
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin is required
  • Emergency Nursing experience preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, often high-stress environment
