Shift & Schedule Information
- Flexibility in shifts; specific days and hours to be discussed during the hiring process
Requirements & Skills
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Proficient in performing and interpreting a variety of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in laboratory results
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with healthcare team members
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests accurately and timely
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance measures
- Document test results correctly and communicate findings to healthcare providers
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Provide support and training to junior laboratory staff if applicable
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as an MT or MLT as required by state regulations
- Relevant experience in clinical laboratory settings preferred but not mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $49.00 - $58.00
