Requirements & Skills

  • Valid and current Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Experience developing individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric and/or adult patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Educate patients and families about treatment goals and home exercise programs
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Previous clinical experience in varied healthcare settings is highly desirable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $68.00 - $81.00
