Requirements & Skills
- Valid and current Speech Language Pathologist license
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide direct therapy services to pediatric and/or adult patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Educate patients and families about treatment goals and home exercise programs
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous clinical experience in varied healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $68.00 - $81.00
