Herons Key, is a 5 star premier life plan community located in Gig Harbor Washington. We opened in 2018 and it is a stunning community!! Our campus hosts hundreds of independent residents in beautiful apartments. As their needs change, we have assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. The LPN is responsible for managing the day to day resident health services and supervising clinical needs during the assigned shift. You will have Nursing Assistants to assist in your daily responsibilities and managers on the floor if needed. We are a team that works together to accomplish the day to day duties and responsibilities.
Pay Scale: LPN - $40.66 - $44.14 depending on shift differential and experience
PART TIME NIGHT
Friday 6pm-10pm
Saturday 6pm-10pm 1st week 6pm-6am 2nd week
Sunday 6pm-10pm
PART TIME MORNING
Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Thursday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities:
Practices high standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the nursing department.
Provides resident directed services that honor individual lifestyles and preferences. Promotes that the Penrose Center is home for the resident.
Consults with attending physicians for treatments, medications, rehabilitation, etc.
Notifies attending physicians, family members and members of the neighborhood team when there is a change in the resident’s condition.
Completes medication and treatment passes in accordance with state regulation and facility policy.
Completes medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies and chartings.
Provides leadership with coaching and mentoring to the neighborhood team. Provides supervision for NACs’ daily tasks and routine care of residents.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Current unencumbered Washington State LPN license.
Food Handler’s permit, CPR and First Aide.
