About This Position
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our internal medicine office located in Irvine. Mandarin speaking is required due to our patient population.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician.
Execute medical procedures such as suture removal, ear lavage, Pap smear collection etc.
Provide care for patients with age 18+
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and maintain confidentiality.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Follow up on lab results, some patient messages.
In person or tele health visits
For full time: Monday to friday 9am-6pm (lunch hour 12-1pm)
7 hours per day of patient visit time. 1 hour for charting.
Able to handle 3 patients per hour. Occasionally 4 patients per hour.
Mostly insurance based patients: PPO, HMO, CalOptima, Medicare etc
Qualifications
New graduates and or experienced providers are welcome to apply. Must demonstrate excellent patient care and clinical skills either way.
Due to our specific patient demographics, we require Mandarin speaking and listening ability
Licensed physician assistant or nurse practitioner
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education within the field.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
