About This Position
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings in Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical environments, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities, delivering specialized dialysis services to patients in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nephrology nursing, with experience in dialysis procedures, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This position emphasizes mobility and adaptability, ensuring patients receive consistent, high-quality care during their travel assignments.
Requirements
Valid RN license in the practicing state, or temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the state of practice.
BLS certification.
Minimum of one recent year of Dialysis experience and 2 years experience as a RN
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching frequently.
Physical agility and reaction time to respond to unexpected patient care needs.
Adequate hearing and visual acuity, including color vision.
Fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, ability to grasp and handle objects.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Use of standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
Effective communication skills via reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Ability to use a computer periodically.
