About This Position

Part Time Position - 3 Days/week, ~ 8a-12p (12-15 hours/week)

Job Overview

Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary behavioral health team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in an outpatient mental health setting. This confidential opportunity offers the ability to practice at the top of your license while working alongside experienced clinical professionals to deliver high-quality psychiatric and medical care to individuals with complex behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate is collaborative, clinically strong, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through integrated care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical assessments, ongoing health evaluations, and medication management for patients receiving outpatient behavioral health services.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Order, interpret, and respond to laboratory, diagnostic, and other clinical findings to support safe and effective patient care.

Conduct admission evaluations, medical screenings, and periodic follow-up visits while assessing changes in medical and psychiatric status.

Prescribe, adjust, and monitor medications within scope of practice, providing patient education regarding treatment recommendations, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.

Collaborate closely with therapists, nursing staff, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Participate in clinical case consultation, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Promote patient safety by adhering to HIPAA requirements, infection prevention practices, and applicable federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.

Contribute to a positive therapeutic environment through professionalism, effective communication, and a commitment to evidence-based behavioral healthcare.

Provide health education, consultation, and support to patients, families, and clinical staff as appropriate.

Participate in organizational meetings, continuing education, and other responsibilities necessary to support high-quality clinical operations.

Experience

Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner eligible for licensure in the State of Nebraska within 60 days of hire.

DEA prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).

Previous experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, addiction medicine, or other mental health settings preferred.

Strong assessment, communication, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
