About This Position
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed, dedicated and skilled Medical Technician/Caregiver to join our nursing team @ The Cottages of Snohomish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. This role requires proficiency in handling medical records, familiarity with electronic health record systems such as PCC and POC, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. The Medical Technician/Caregiver will work closely with our nurse and other healthcare professionals in various settings, including assisted living, memory care and hospice patients.
Responsibilities
Perform routine medical tests and procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the preparation and administration of medications as directed by nursing staff.
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
Utilize electronic health record systems (PCC,POC) for documentation and data management.
Conduct patient assessments to gather vital signs and other relevant health information.
Support patients in our assisted living & memory care community settings by providing necessary medical assistance.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and work areas. in addition to resident rooms.
Requirements
Must have current NAC or HCA Certification in addition to Nurse Delegation w/ Diabetes.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems (PCC, POC) is highly desirable.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Compassionate attitude towards patient care with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
