We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care team. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. Your expertise will support residents with diverse needs, including memory care, behavioral health, and complex medical conditions. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Administer and document medications and treatments as ordered.
Supervise Nursing Assistants and ensure compliance with resident care plans.
Coordinate physician visits and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Educate residents, families, and staff regarding care plans and treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide IV therapy, including IV initiation, medication administration, central lines, and catheters.
Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
Participate in quality management and interdisciplinary care initiatives.
Serve as the primary contact and charge nurse for the assigned shift.
Requirements:
Active RN License
Minimum 1 year of experience
Long-Term Care experience preferred
Strong charge/supervisory experience
Ability to work varied day/evening shifts and holidays
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,400.00 per week
