Job description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) assignment in Miller, South Dakota. This position provides comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents, focusing on medication administration, chronic disease management, wound care, and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to LTC and skilled nursing residents.
Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies.
Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient condition.
Perform wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure compliance with LTC/SNF regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Support resident care planning and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
Active South Dakota RN license or Compact RN license.
Minimum 1 year of recent LTC/SNF nursing experience.
Current BLS certification.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently during night shifts and provide compassionate geriatric care.
