The Opportunity

We’re seeking Float Pool RNs to join the hospital-based teams at two of our award-winning facilities in the Puget Sound region of Washington state — MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA and Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA.

This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a high-volume, high-acuity setting where nurses are trusted clinical leaders and essential partners in patient outcomes. You’ll deliver expert care alongside highly skilled physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Incentives:

  • $10K Sign-on bonus (BSN and 3 Years of experience required) and up to $10K relocation. Sign on and Relocation bonus requires a 24-month commitment.
  • Tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities
  • You’ll be eligible for incentive pay and shift differentials

  • You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
  • You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three (3) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • Current Health Care Provider level CPR certification required
  • ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
  • Certification in specialty area preferred
  • At least 2 years experience as an RN in ICU/PCU or Step Down units

    Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

    Experience:

  • ICU, PCU/Step-Down, or Med/Surg: 2 years (Preferred)
  • acute care: 2 years (Required)

    License/Certification:

  • WA RN license or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL) (Required)
