St Paul VI Institute
Position: Registered Nurse – Full Time or Part Time
We are looking for an RN who is a team player, desires to take great care of the patients they encounter, and communicates well. The Saint Paul VI Institute is a Catholic Ob/Gyn clinic which attracts patients from across the country. The St Paul VI Institute is the home of NaProTechnology. Our nurses play an integral role in the care of our patients. Come join our team!
Qualifications:
Currently licensed as RN in State of Nebraska
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build rapport with patients, physicians and co-workers
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Willing to adhere to philosophy and mission of our Institute
Pay: Minimum $35.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
Communicate with collaborating physicians and/or ambulatory team regarding patient care
Assist in communicating treatment plans
Able to triage phone/email correspondence
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Participate in the education of patients, including medications and providing shot instructions.
· Assist in administering intramuscular medications and intravenous infusions as ordered.
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Occasional phlebotomy
