Required Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Texas
Experience performing psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing direct services to students
Strong background in behavioral consultation, response-to-intervention strategies, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to special education
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for special services
Develop evidence-based intervention strategies and participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic and behavioral challenges
Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
Act as a vital member of student support and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic educational experiences
