About This Position
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care and medical knowledge, ensuring the highest standards of health services are delivered to our patients. You will play a critical role in assessing patient needs, providing direct care, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and developing tailored care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs and changes in condition.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
Uphold strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
Drawing blood for various tests.
Assisting physicians during exams and procedures.
Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment.
Experience
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
