Duties
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to track health status
Support residents with specialized care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive disabilities
Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all care activities in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being
Follow safe patient lifting practices and adhere to infection control protocols during all caregiving tasks
Communicate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care plans
Maintain a clean, organized environment by assisting with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Care Aide (HCA), or Nurse Aide Registered (NA-R) required
Current CPR and First Aid certifications required; ongoing training encouraged
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to diverse populations
Familiarity with EMR systems and group home procedures is a plus
Reliable, energetic, and dedicated team player committed to delivering high-quality care
Speak, read, write and comprehend American English.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
