Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

Accurately document resident assessments, treatments, and nursing interventions.

Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policies.

Transcribe physician orders and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs).

Coordinate with the pharmacy regarding new medication orders and prescription changes.

Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.

Provide wound care and other clinical treatments as ordered.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement resident care plans.

Educate residents and family members regarding treatments and care plans.

Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Basic computer skills.

Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
