RN Details
Full Time Schedules
Every other weekend required
8 or 12 hour shifts depending on facility
RN Duties
Triage and Rapid Assessment: Evaluate incoming patients immediately upon arrival, assign acuity levels using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI), and prioritize critical care interventions.
Emergency Resuscitation & Life Support: Administer Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) during acute traumas, cardiac arrests, stroke alerts, and respiratory distress.
Medication & IV Administration: Establish peripheral and central IV lines, calculate accurate dosages, and safely deliver high-alert medications, blood products, and continuous critical care drips.
RN Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited educational institution
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
1+ year of relevant Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an emergency department
