About This Position
Come join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. St. Rose Convent is home to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the Mary of the Angels Chapel. We are seeking full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our wellness team at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse. We are looking for someone who shares our values of partnership and compassion and desires a culture that puts relationships first.
In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care while embodying our mission of love and service. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a healing environment that aligns with our values.
Current LPN license
Ability for weekend rotation and holiday rotation
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.

a love of working with seniors,
excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
a commitment to person-directed care (or as we call it
-relationship-centered care!)
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Commitment to the values of compassion, justice, and service.
Would prefer 1-2 years of experience in field.
In this role, you may:
Provides on-going evaluation of health status including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual status. Participates in their plan of care. Takes appropriate action commensurate with education and experience. Maintains accurate, professional records for each Sister.
Provides routine nursing care and care in collaboration with medical providers to manage diverse and complex health conditions, including treatment.
Identify with and display a commitment to the mission, philosophy, and the core values of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
Communicates with other members of the Wellness team verbally and through the use of the Electronic Charting System.
Coordinates appointments, arranges transportation and companion if needed for the Sisters. Advocates for the Sisters to assure their health needs are being met.
