Weekly Gross Pay: $2,595.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $950.00

Requirements of the RN ONCOLOGY:
● Must have a valid state SD License or Compact license.
● Must have AHA BLS.
● Must have 2+ years of RN ONCOLOGY.

Responsibilities of the RN ONCOLOGY.:
Shift: 10-hours Days
Shift details: 7.00 AM to 5.30 PM
40 hours/week. (4*10)
13-week assignment
Deliver comprehensive oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy administration, infusion therapy, and symptom management.
Monitor patient responses to treatments such as Botulinum toxin injections and other specialized procedures like ostomy care or wound suturing.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to evaluate treatment efficacy and safety.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, side effect management, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians specializing in ophthalmology, infectious disease care, or geriatrics to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Assist with triage and urgent care needs, managing acute pain or critical situations in various healthcare settings such as hospital medicine or outpatient clinics.
Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques during procedures like IV insertions, catheterizations, or laboratory specimen collection to prevent infections.
Requirements
Valid RN license with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Proven experience in oncology nursing, including chemotherapy administration and supportive care practices.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience working within NCQA standards is preferred.
Strong clinical skills in IV infusion therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment across diverse settings including hospital trauma centers or outpatient clinics.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to oncology treatments and procedures such as CT scans, PET imaging, or laboratory testing like ICD coding.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions such as developmental disabilities or memory care needs is advantageous.
Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
