We are seeking an experienced Certified Medication Aide (Med Aide) / CNA for a 13-week travel assignment in Miller, South Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for a healthcare professional who is certified to administer medications and can also provide hands-on CNA care in a skilled nursing/LTC setting.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holidays: Every other holiday
Charting: PointClickCare (PCC)
Experience: Minimum 1 year

BLS: Required
Position Responsibilities
The Medication Aide/CNA will work in a skilled nursing/LTC environment and must be comfortable performing both medication aide and CNA responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Administer medications according to facility protocols
Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in resident condition
Assist with meals and hydration
Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance
Maintain accurate documentation
Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures
Support residents with compassionate, respectful care
Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff
Qualifications
Current Medication Aide/Certified Medication Aide credentials required
Current CNA certification required
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Skilled nursing/LTC experience preferred
Must be able to work as both a Certified Medication Aide (Level II) and CNA
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Schedule & Working Conditions
12-hour shifts
Primarily day shifts
Variable scheduling
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
36 guaranteed hours per week
No on-call or call-back requirement

80-mile local radius applies
Local placements have an adjusted rate
GSS housing use may result in local-rate application
No charge differential
A $500 fee may apply if a clinician backs out or quits with less than 14 days' notice
