About the Role
As a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN you'll care for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses who require close observation and cardiac monitoring. You'll use your clinical expertise to identify changes in patient conditions, interpret telemetry readings, administer medications, and help guide patients through recovery.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and blood products as prescribed
Coordinate care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Support positive patient outcomes through evidence-based nursing care
Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute care environments
