Meda Health is seeking a Travel Emergency Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract role in New Mexico. Responsibilities
Assess, prioritize (triage), and initiate immediate care for patients presenting with acute illnesses or traumatic injuries.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage advanced life support equipment in high-stress situations.
Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, mid-level providers, and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.
Prepare and manage patients requiring transfer to intensive care units, operating rooms, or inpatient floors.
Provide clear, compassionate communication and education to patients and their families during critical moments.
Requirements
Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license with current state licensure or a valid Compact/Multistate license
Minimum of one year of prior experience in nursing required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
