We are a fast-paced, patient-centered oral and maxillofacial surgery practice offering a broad surgical scope, including large case volumes of full-arch (All-on-4) surgery, orthognathic surgery, IV sedation, and implant reconstruction.

Compensation Breakdown
$30.00 – $39.00 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and years of competency)
Upper Range ($37–$39/hr)
DAA (Dental Anesthesia Assistant) certification
Many years of DAANCE and/or IV sedation experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
Consistent and independent IV starts over many years
Extensive experience assisting with full-arch (All-on-4) cases
Experience supporting orthognathic surgery
Hospital privileges or hospital-based surgical experience
Several years of implant treatment coordination and restorative workflow
Ability to independently manage surgical flow and anticipate needs
Leadership experience in a clinical setting
HR-related involvement (onboarding, culture contributions, documentation support)
Training/mentorship experience helping newer assistants become competent
Active WA State Dental Anesthesia License
Mid Range ($33–$36/hr)
DAANCE certification/IV sedation experience with a few years of application
Good assisting skills with increasing independence
Strong communication and attention to detail
Reliable, organized, and patient-focused
Entry Range ($30–$32/hr)
Limited oral surgery experience but motivated to learn and grow
Strong teamwork and communication
Willingness to train and develop advanced competencies

Responsibilities
Assist during full-arch, orthognathic, implant, and sedation procedures
Prepare and maintain surgical trays and instruments
Support anesthesia monitoring and post-op care
Maintain sterile workflow and infection control standards
Communicate clearly with surgeon, team, and patients
Contribute to workflow efficiency and patient comfort
Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement
Manage supplies and assist with ordering
Maintain pharmacy and controlled substance systems appropriately
Assist in inbox management and patient email communications
Submit prescriptions electronically as directed
Assist with scheduling and schedule audit tasks
Assist with sending letters, treatment follow-up communication, and coordination
Support chart audits and record accuracy
