Kore Cares is hiring a Part-Time Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) in Yankton, SD to provide one-on-one nursing care for a child in their home.

What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Private Duty Nurse, you'll provide skilled, individualized nursing care to a pediatric client in their home according to their plan of care.
Depending on client’s needs, responsibilities may include:
Provide skilled, one-on-one pediatric nursing care
Assess and monitor the child's health and condition
Administer and monitor medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor vital signs, nutrition, skin integrity and mobility
Provide catheter, wound and other skilled nursing care as ordered
Perform nursing procedures based on the child's individualized plan of care
Recognize, document and report changes in condition
Communicate with the child's family, physicians and healthcare team
Provide education and support to family members
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
Promote the child's safety, dignity, independence and quality of life
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an RN or LPN who is compassionate, dependable and enjoys providing personalized care. You should be comfortable working independently in a client's home while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
Qualifications
Active South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Two years of nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication and critical-thinking skills
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Eligibility to work in the United States
