What you're doing in nursing today.
What you enjoy most about being an LPN.
What you wish you had more of in your current nursing position.
Your LPN License Should Mean More Than Passing Medications.
You worked hard to become a nurse.
You learned how to assess patients, recognize changes, communicate with providers, educate families, and make clinical decisions.
But in some nursing environments, LPNs can start to feel like their entire job has become one long medication pass.
We want you to use more of what you know.
At Elmore Assisted Living, we're looking for an LPN who wants to be an important clinical resource within the community.
You'll still administer medications and treatments.
But you'll also assess residents, recognize changes in condition, communicate with providers, support caregivers, interact with families, and help make clinical decisions that directly affect resident care.
Why LPNs Choose Sunflower Communities
$30.00-$40.00/hour based on experience.
+$1.75/hour Overnight Differential.
+$1.00/hour Weekend Differential.
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities.
Build meaningful relationships with a consistent resident population.
Use your clinical judgment and assessment skills.
Gain experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Work with chronic disease management, dementia care, medications, and geriatric nursing.
Become a clinical resource for caregivers and medication staff.
Work directly with physicians, pharmacies, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Join a close-knit organization with accessible leadership.
Opportunities for continued professional growth.
Be a Nurse, Not Just a Task List
Your evening might start with medications.
Then a caregiver tells you a resident seems unusually confused.
You assess them.
Another resident recently returned from the hospital and needs follow-up.
A family member has questions about a medication change.
A physician's office calls with new orders.
Someone isn't eating like they normally do.
That's where your nursing judgment matters.
You'll help determine what needs immediate attention, what needs monitoring, when a provider should be contacted, and how the rest of the team should respond.
That's nursing.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide nursing care throughout the evening shift.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
Perform resident assessments and recognize changes in condition.
Support residents with chronic medical conditions and cognitive impairment.
Communicate clinical concerns with providers and nursing leadership.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
Support individualized resident service plans.
Provide guidance and clinical support to caregivers and medication staff.
Communicate with residents and families regarding care needs.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, hospice, home health, and other healthcare partners.
Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Bring the Experience You've Already Built
We'd especially like to meet LPNs coming from:
Assisted Living.
Memory Care.
Long-Term Care.
Skilled Nursing.
Rehabilitation.
Home Health.
Hospice.
Clinic Nursing.
Geriatric Care.
We're looking for someone with an active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license who is comfortable working independently, communicating with providers, and making sound clinical decisions within their scope of practice.
You Don't Have to Become an RN to Grow as an LPN
Career growth doesn't always mean earning another license.
It can mean becoming the nurse everyone trusts when something changes.
Becoming stronger in geriatric and dementia care.
Learning how to guide caregivers.
Taking greater ownership of resident care.
And developing the confidence that comes from actually using your nursing knowledge every day.
At Elmore Assisted Living, experienced LPNs can become incredibly important clinical leaders within the community.
If you're looking for $30-$40/hour, Full-Time or Part-Time options, shift differentials, greater clinical involvement, and an opportunity to use more of the nursing skills you've developed, we'd love to meet you.
