About This Position
**Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality support and care for the elderly in our homes. This rewarding role requires a strong commitment to delivering personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. **Responsibilities:** - Provide one-on-one support and care to clients in their homes, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment - Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records - Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client - Manage challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavioral management techniques - Perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers as necessary - Provide social support and engage in recreational activities with clients to promote social skills and enjoyment - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines - Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care **Skills:** - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism - Direct support experience - Ability to administer medications and maintain accurate records - Strong patient care and behavior management skills - Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed - Experience with home care and social work - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality We offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
