MED-SURG RN – SHIPROCK, NM
Pay: $65/hour
Location: Northern Navajo Medical Center – Shiprock, NM
Contract:6 months with option periods
Position Overview
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing care at Northern Navajo Medical Center. RNs will care for acute, chronic, surgical, and palliative patients while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct Med-Surg nursing care
Perform patient assessments and monitor conditions
Administer medications and treatments
Care for acute, chronic, surgical, and palliative patients
Respond to changes in patient condition
Document patient care accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team
Follow NNMC and IHS policies and protocols
Float to other departments as needed
Requirements
Current, unrestricted RN License
BLS required
ACLS highly recommended
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
At least 2 years of Med-Surg experience
Must meet health, immunization, background, and credentialing requirements
Schedule
12-hour shifts
7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Approximately 40 hours/week
