Location: Lubbock, TX
Job Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks(Open to extend)(BI02)
Schedule: Day Shift/Night Shift | 3×12 Hours | 36 Hours per Week
Travel pay
MS/Tele - $55/hr
OR - $65/hr
ER- $60/hr
Job Overview
Seeking a Travel Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit. The RN will monitor neurological and cardiac conditions, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment for patients requiring continuous monitoring.

Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
Total Staffed Beds: 379
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for neurological and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and perform dysrhythmia interpretation
Manage and respond to cardiac monitoring alerts and emergencies
Administer medications, IV therapy, and patient treatments as prescribed
Provide oxygen therapy and respiratory support including nasal cannula and oxygen tanks
Maintain and manage peripheral IV lines and vascular access
Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when needed
Follow infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system
Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
License and Certification required as per the specialty
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Experience working in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry units
Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmiasPreferred Qualifications
Experience in Neuro Telemetry or cardiac monitoring units
Teaching hospital or trauma center experience
Experience with Telemetry monitoring and emergency response protocols
Schedule & Work Expectations
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Floating between units may be required
No on-call requirement
48-hour workweeks may be approved
