About This Position
Job Summary:
Chimney Rock Villa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the State of Nebraska
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
- Experience in home health, acute care, hospice care, or nursing home settings preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
