About This Position
Northland PACE is dedicated to providing comprehensive, community-based healthcare services to older adults. Through a personalized, interdisciplinary approach within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks, we support independence, dignity, and quality of life so participants can continue living safely in their homes and communities.
Position Overview
We are seeking kind, compassionate, and dependable Caregivers, Nursing Assistants (NAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who enjoy making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting seniors and interested in building a rewarding career in healthcare.
Northland offers training and will support state registration for individuals interested in becoming a Registered Nurse Assistant (NA).
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on assistance and support to participants in clinic, home, and community settings, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and comfort needs
Support nursing staff with basic clinical tasks as directed
Observe, document, and report changes in participant condition
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
Follow individualized care plans and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
Willingness to become registered as a Nurse Assistant if not currently certified (training and support provided)
Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Passion for working with older adults in a supportive, mission-driven environment
