About This Position

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Spine & Joint

Position Summary

The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with spine and joint pain conditions in a multidisciplinary pain and regenerative medicine practice. This role includes caring for both new and established patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and coordinating care across conventional and regenerative modalities under physician supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Evaluate patients presenting with spine and joint pain complaints to determine appropriate diagnoses

· Manage both new patient consultations and established patient follow-up visits

· Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies

· Develop and discuss individualized treatment plans incorporating conventional medical therapies, interventional pain procedures and regenerative medicine options

· Provide longitudinal care and chronic disease management for patients with chronic spine, joint, and nerve-related pain conditions

· Prescribe and manage medications, primarily non-opioid pain therapies, in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and practice protocols

· Perform or assist with office-based procedures and injections as delegated and credentialed

· Recommend and coordinate orthotics, bracing, physical therapy, and referrals to ancillary care providers as appropriate

· Document clinical encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record

· Ensure documentation supports accurate, compliant billing and coding to optimize appropriate reimbursement

Training

· A comprehensive training program will be provided by Dr. Mahajan including the proper examination of spine and joint conditions as well as how to perform image-guided injections.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
