Description
American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Cardiology clinic setting, requiring 1+ year of clinic experience and cardiology experience.
Details
Work in the Heart and Vascular Institute clinic setting
Patient population includes General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery cases
Clinic sees up to 22 patients per day
Scheduled for 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
No weekend rotation required
No on-call requirements
May float only within the Cardiology clinic
Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
Current LPN license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required
Cardiology experience required
Epic charting system experience required
Additional Information
Support team includes an EKG tech, three Clinical Assistants (1 per 10 rooms), a Lead RN, and a Nursing Manager (RN)
Orientation includes facility protocol training plus 3-4 days on the unit alongside a nurse
Holiday coverage required for 2 of 4 designated holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving
Navy blue scrubs required
Free parking provided
First-time travelers considered if they have clinic experience of any kind
Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility
Permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler
