About This Position
Full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant supports licensed Physical Therapists in Spearfish, SD, delivering treatment plans, monitoring progress, and educating patients to achieve rehabilitation goals. The role emphasizes strong communication and a commitment to high‑quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed
Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility)
CPR certification required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
