The Occupational Therapy Manager plays a vital leadership role in supporting that journey—integrating trauma-informed occupational therapy services across programs and helping survivors build the skills needed for daily living, emotional wellness, and long-term stability.

What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee occupational therapy services across residential, outreach, and aftercare programs
Maintain a client caseload focused on life skills, emotional regulation, and vocational readiness
Conduct assessments and develop individualized, trauma-informed care plans
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide clinical guidance to staff
Integrate occupational therapy principles across multidisciplinary teams
Support program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts
Coach staff in trauma-informed practices and effective client engagement
Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to ensure coordinated care
Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with standards
What You Bring
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
Active (or eligible) Occupational Therapy license in South Dakota
1–2+ years of clinical experience
Experience working with trauma, mental health, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical, real-world skill development
