Duties
Provided comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
Served as the circulating RN, coordinating surgical activities and maintaining patient safety throughout procedures.
Completed preoperative patient assessments, verified medical history, allergies, consent forms, and surgical site.
Prepared the operating room, surgical equipment, supplies, instruments, and medications according to procedure requirements.
Assisted with patient positioning and ensured proper use of safety devices to prevent injury.
Maintained strict aseptic and sterile techniques and monitored compliance with infection-control standards.
Collaborated closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical team.
Performed and documented surgical counts of instruments, needles, sponges, and other supplies before, during, and after procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Previous OR/Circulating experience required
Active RN license required
BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
EPIC experience
Must meet the facility's performance expectations
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
