About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Full-Time Nurse or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for private client care in Seattle, WA (Redwind). This full-time role provides dedicated one-on-one support for a male client. The schedule is full-time (exact hours/shifts to be confirmed and may include days, evenings, or flexible coverage based on client needs). The focus is on supporting the client’s daily needs while promoting independence, comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a private home or residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and record vital signs; observe and promptly report changes in condition.
Assist with meal preparation, medication and nutrition as required.
Support medication reminders or administration according to scope of practice and any nurse-delegated tasks (Washington State requirements apply).
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team, family, and healthcare providers.
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Offer companionship and emotional support while respecting the client’s privacy and preferences.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the client’s care plan.
Qualifications
Current Washington State CNA (NA-C) certification or active RN/LPN license in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification (and First Aid preferred).
Reliable, professional, and experienced in providing personal care (prior private-duty, home health, or long-term care experience preferred).
Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks, including lifting/transferring with proper technique.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a respectful, client-centered approach.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the exact care setting.
Must pass background check and any other screening requirements.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and credentials (Seattle-area rates for similar full-time private or facility roles typically range from the mid-$30s upward for CNAs; higher for licensed nurses).
Full-time schedule with potential for consistent hours.
