Night Shift Nurse – RN or LPN
Mount Carmel Home | Kearney, Nebraska
Full-Time | 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Our nurses play an important role in providing excellent clinical care while helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home.
Pay & Schedule
LPN: $35.25/hour
RN: $44.00/hour
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus
6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Every 3rd weekend
Every other holiday
Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care to residents throughout the overnight shift.
Complete resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Respond promptly to resident needs, changes in condition, and emergencies.
Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Communicate effectively with physicians, providers, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Provide guidance and support to CNAs and other members of the overnight care team.
Follow individualized care plans and help ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centered care.
Maintain resident privacy, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
Help create a calm, supportive environment for residents throughout the night.
Qualifications
Current Nebraska RN or LPN license, or ability to obtain one.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is helpful, but not required.
