Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in long-term care facilities.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to inform treatment plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols; including antibiotic managment and aseptic techniques.
Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, wound care, and tube feedings.
Document patient information thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Matrix or Point Click Care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning.
Support infection control practices and maintain sterile processing standards in all clinical activities.
Hours for this position are 5pm-1030pm and/or 6pm-630am and/or 6am-630pm.
Requirements
Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of South Dakota.
At least 1 year or more of nursing home (LTC) nursing experience.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and demonstrate excellent patient assessment skills.
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
