Requirements
- Experience: 1 year of experience
- Licensure: OR license
- Certifications: BLS
- Credentials: CCC-SLP
- Travel Experience: Not required
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and swallowing care in acute care settings
- Complete clinical documentation including Assessment, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Discharge, and related billing/documentation needs
- Perform and manage dysphasia services, including:
- Bedside Swallow Evaluation
- Compensatory Strategies (required)
- Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- International Dysphagia Diet (required)
- Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Modifying Diet Orders
- Passy Muir Valves (required)
- Trach/Vent (required)
