In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. You will utilize your clinical expertise to perform assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values your skills and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history reviews to determine individual care needs.

Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, injections, suturing, and wound care using aseptic techniques.

Manage complex medical procedures such as catheterizations, dialysis care, ventilator management, and tube feeding with precision and adherence to protocols.

Document all patient interactions and interventions clearly in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Collaborate with physicians, specialists (including cardiology, ophthalmology, trauma medicine), and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Provide patient education on health management strategies such as pain management, medication administration, and post-discharge instructions.

Participate in triage processes in urgent care or emergency room settings to prioritize patient needs efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine is highly preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9).

Hands-on experience with specialized procedures including cardiac catheterization, sonography, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and infection control protocols.

Background working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics (including memory care and dementia/dementia care), behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers or similar high-acuity settings is advantageous.

Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law related to occupational health cases is a plus.

Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy/physiology knowledge, and diagnostic evaluation techniques essential for comprehensive patient assessment. Join us if you’re passionate about delivering high-quality nursing care in a vibrant environment that encourages professional development! We are committed to supporting your growth through ongoing training opportunities in areas such as hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, geriatrics, family planning, esthetic laser treatment, and more.
