About This Position
HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as night shift Nurse Leader, Labor & Delivery, at a 150+ hospital in California. While this is not a hands-on position, the Leader will be expected to step in occasionally. The Nurse Leader's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
providing leadership in Labor & Delivery,
staffing, planning, and organizing the department in collaboration with department director, and
developing programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience combined with 2 years of experience in L&D leadership; must have a proven track record of success in improving patient experience, labor and delivery quality metrics, as well as a high degree of clinical proficiency, and effective leadership skills
License: Current California RN license required
Certifications: NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring; RNC preferred
Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment

Pay: $2,750.00 - $3,000.00 per week
