Meadowbrook Post Acute is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. As the RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensure regulatory compliance, provide clinical leadership, and promote outstanding resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct nursing staff during assigned shift.
Ensure residents receive quality nursing care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and federal and state regulations.
Serve as the clinical resource and leader for LVNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel.
Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident incidents.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Review documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention efforts.
Assist with staffing assignments and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of California Title 22 regulations and CMS requirements preferred.
