About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join a growing private rheumatology practice and state-of-the-art infusion center.
As the practice continues expanding to multiple locations, you'll work alongside an experienced, collaborative team of rheumatologists and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated ARNP who enjoys building long-term patient relationships while practicing in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Following the training period, this position includes 4 days in clinic and 1 day of Telehealth per week.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform physical examinations.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Washington State regulations.
Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
Conduct infusion suite follow-up visits, providing patient education and ongoing support.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, billing documentation, and other required records.
Qualifications
Required
Active and unrestricted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license
Ability to obtain Washington State licensure
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Current AANP or ANCC certification
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Preferred
Rheumatology experience
Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or another outpatient specialty
New graduate Nurse Practitioners with strong clinical training and a passion for rheumatology are encouraged to apply
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Excellent computer and medical documentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Comfortable seeing a minimum of 21 patients per day, with a goal of 24 patients daily
Thorough understanding of HIPAA and OSHA compliance requirements
