The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) is responsible for administering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, while ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.
Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) certification in NE
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders
Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly
Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas
Follow all state regulations and facility protocols
Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents
