About This Position
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents, and maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor residents’ health conditions and report significant changes
Document nursing care accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Support and mentor nursing assistants on shift.
Qualifications
Licensure: Current and valid LPN license in the state of Nebraska
Experience: Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, typically 6:00pm-6:00am)
Weekend and holiday rotations
