About Us:
We are a well-established Rheumatology physician-owned private practice in the Portland area focused on delivering personalized, high-quality care to our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN/LVN to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, weekday-only position in a calm, patient-focused outpatient setting.
Position Summary:
The Infusion nurse will administer biologic and specialty infusions, monitor patients during treatment, and provide patient education and support. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. For candidates with leadership experience, there is an opportunity to serve as a Supervisor LPN/LVN, providing clinical oversight and support to infusion staff. Responsibilities:
Administer IV infusions, including biologics and specialty medications
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
Perform IV insertions and maintain venous access devices
Educate patients about their medications and treatment plans
Document all care provided in the EMR accurately and timely
Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and office staff
Qualifications:
Current license in Oregon (required)
Minimum 2 year of IV infusion experience (preferred)
BLS certification (required)
Experience in rheumatology, oncology, or other infusion specialties is a plus
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Comfortable with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
No weekends, evenings, or holidays
