About the Role
Day By Day Nursing is seeking experienced, dependable, and career-focused caregivers who are committed to delivering exceptional in-home care. This is not an entry-level caregiver position. We are looking for professionals with a proven work history in caregiving, strong clinical awareness, and a consistent record of reliability and compassion.
Our Caregiver II team members are trusted to provide high-quality support while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and excellent communication with clients, families, and our care team.

What You Will Do
Deliver personalized, client-centered care based on individual care plans
Assist clients with activities of daily living including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Toileting
Mobility assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support medication reminders and medication assistance procedures
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Transport or accompany clients to appointments and community outings when needed
Communicate professionally with office staff, nurses, and family members
Exercise sound judgment and critical thinking in changing situations

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 1–2 years of recent professional caregiving experience
Experience with dementia care, fall prevention, transfers, and personal care
Stable work history with no excessive job hopping
Comfortable working in private homes and adapting to different client needs
Strong references from previous caregiving employers
Requirements
Active Washington State CNA or HCA License
CPR / First Aid Certification
Dementia Specialty Training Certificate
Nurse Delegation Certificate (Preferred)
Knowledge of medication administration procedures
Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Smartphone for scheduling and care coordination
Strong verbal and written communication skills
