About This Position
Our Plastic Surgery practice is in search of a versatile team member to deliver a concierge patient experience at The Elston Clinic.
The position will assist in cases in our procedure room by obtaining vital signs, recording pertinent medical information, opening sterile packaging, delivering medications, and helping patients enjoy their experience by providing a friendly and engaging demeanor. During non-operative days, the position will be a hybrid between answering clinical questions from patients and medical scribing for the doctor during patient encounters.
Our ideal candidate is a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting (Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred). Fast learners and extremely motivated applicants are expected and will easily integrate into our office.
To be successful in this position applicants should be exceptionally reliable, self-starter, and overall an "A player." Low energy, frequently late/absent, and error prone applicants will not last long and need not apply. Clinical experience required are IV placement, changing bandages, and assessing patients for pain and level of sedation.
Experience with prior authorizations for insurance based procedures are a huge plus.
We strongly believe in working hard while we're in the office and having plenty of time to unwind, which is reflected in our four day work week (Tues-Fri 8AM-5PM with 1 hour lunch).
Nurses will be eligible to receive training in laser hair removal as well as photofacial skin rejuvenation to add to their skillset.
We routinely offer CO2 laser resurfacing and IPL/hair removal as a perk of being an employee.
If you feel like you are a no-brainer for this position and will excel, please submit a resume!
